I made the images in this series at Fabrica from September 2000 through May 2002. Fabrica is the communications research and development center of Benetton. During this period, I was a researcher in the photography department. Founded in 1994, Fabrica has chosen to back the creativity of young artists from all over the world. Following careful selection, they are invited to develop concrete communication projects, in sectors as wide-ranging as cinema, industrial design, music, graphic design, new media, and photography.
