Screenshots : Wax
2011 - 2012

Using a batik tjanting tool, I apply drops of hot paraffin wax that soaks into the paper, rendering the paper translucent. When lit from the front, wax appears grey on the white paper. When lit from behind, the waxy areas glow white and the paper
appears grey.
